FRED L. SANFILIPO, DC, DACBO
Dr. Fred SanFilipo is a graduate of St. Bonaventure University and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He obtained his Doctorate of Chiropractic from New York Chiropractic College (NYCC) and continued his postgraduate studies in orthopedics at National College of Chiropractic, after which he attained board Certification in Chiropractic Orthopedics (currently renamed International Academy of Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine).
Dr. Fred has received specialized training from Los Angeles College of Chiropractic and is certified in the management of Temporomandibular Joint Disorders, and Whiplash associated disorders. He has also obtained postgraduate training at NYCC and is certified for the management of soft tissue disorders using the ConnecTX Technique.He is a member of the American Chiropractic Association and is a fellow of the International Academy of Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine.
Dr. Fred was previously an adjunct staff member at Community College of the Finger Lakes where he taught Human Anatomy and Physiology. He also held a post as an Adjunctive Assistant Professor of Clinical Sciences at NYCC, (currently Northeast College of Health Sciences) where he had taught for over 25 years. Besides being in clinic practice for over 42 years, he is a examiner for the National Board Of Chiropractic Examiners and is a exam writer for the International Academy of Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine. He has served as a volunteer clinician at the Mercy Outreach Health Center and is currently at St. Josephs Neighborhood Center rendering care for the uninsured and under insured of the Greater Rochester Area.
He is a providing panel member of several insurance companies including Medicare, Excellus/Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, United Health Care and MVP.
Dr. Fred and his wife, Michelle, have been married for over 40 years and have 4 grown children, and 7 grandchildren. Dr. Fred's interests include primitive/antique firearms, gardening, and he is an avid outdoorsman, much of which he is teaching his grandchildren.
MICHAEL L. SANFILIPO, MS, DC
Dr. Michael SanFilipo is a graduate of Penn State University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in the field of Biology. He then went on to the New York Chiropractic College and earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2013 where he was awarded with the Liberio A. Violini Distinguished Service Health Center Award for his outstanding clinical performance. He went on to obtain his Master’s Degree in Human Anatomy and Physiology through the New York Chiropractic College (NYCC). Dr. Mike has been trained with using low force techniques including activator and flexion distraction, as well as standard adjustment therapies.
Dr. Mike previously held a teaching post at New York Chiropractic College and ran an instructional clinic treating residents at Monroe Community Hospital. Dr. Mike volunteers his time outside of the office where he can further assist his community at the Chili Fire Department as a volunteer firefighter, and as a clinician at St. Joseph’s Neighborhood Center treating those in the Greater Rochester Area that are uninsured and underinsured. Dr. Mike prides himself on being a well rounded doctor that can provide you with personalized care. Dr. Mike holds teaching positions at Bryant & Strattan College as a professor of a variety of science and Anatomy & Physiology classes. He will be beginning a new post as a clinician at the Bath Veteran Affairs (VA) location where he will treat and provide relief to our beloved veterans. Dr. Mike is a providing panel member of several insurance companies including Medicare, Excellus/Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, United Health Care and MVP.
Dr. Mike and his wife, Cori, reside in Chili and have 3 children and a playful pup at home. He is an avid outdoorsman and spends a lot of his time hunting, fishing and camping with his family.
